I just received lots of Cherry wood. As per so many requests, I put it to use. Check out all of my selections. I have mixed sets and solid Cherry sets. They are simple in their designs and wonderful to hold and feel. Listening to a child play, you can hear their curiosity and learning. Play matters! These toys are powered by imagination and inspire hands on activity to help their development. Be creative and have hours of fun.

The Toy Maker

I have designed and created wooden toys to motivate creativity, encourage play, and learning in babies and toddlers. My hope is that they will inspire children, and enhance imagination. My background as a teacher, reading specialist and mostly a mom, I designed these toys to be a simple way to encourage play. Play matters, so why not have these beautiful organic and natural toys to promote learning and language development. These open-ended toys provide hours of continuous play and conversation. They are adorable and made for little hands. My toys are powered by imagination. No batteries required!

Each toy is made from maple wood, cherry or poplar. They are cut in my studio and sanded many times until they reach a silky smooth perfection. Next, details are etched with a wood burning tool. Lastly, I polish and seal the wood with a cream made from coconut oil, beeswax and an infusion of lavender oils. I hope you will have fun playing with these organically made toys... and always remember to play nice.
